Pancakes! Not from scratch, but they do a much better job for less money than I could (especially if you factor in my time & frustration trying from scratch).





That's my half. SWMBO got the first half, in pairs, as they came off the T-Fal skillet while she worked from home. That syrup is a good generic, butter flavored. The mix used was Hungry Jack light 'n fluffy Complete.

Brunch in a rush.
Cut up avocado, tuna, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and a bunch of walnut chunks.
Plus a mug a strong joe, of course.

Had to use it up before it spoiled...waste not want not.

Yummy oats with chia seeds, maple syrup, and walnut chunks + egg muffin adapted from here.
And, of course, black coffee.

Late Breakfast:
Scrambled eggs w/ Frank's Red Hot Sauce
Morel mushrooms dipped in cracker crumbs
Citrus

Spinach Omelette, with some cheddar cheese and baked back bacon.
Of course black coffee is de rigueur.

There was a request for doughnuts for Mothers Day breakfast: plain glazed, maple glazed, and Golden Monkey black tea.

In our household it was the "fun pack" of Kellogg's cereal and flowers.
