Well I won't be riding out for my ride until later this month so you could jump on a plane and fly clear across the country and I can fix you waffles, also other things. While I don't know how well seasoned I'll have this one I have a smaller cast iron waffle iron I could use. See here:

Hey the man wants a waffle from that griddle. Make him a batch, pack it in dry ice and ship it to him Fedex overnight.

    Easy right?

While I could make HER a waffle and send it to HER as as you suggest, it still wouldn't be the same as if I served it to HER straight off of the iron.

Give me a couple of days notice before you'll get here so I can get the Boars Nest cleaned up a bit and I'll fix you some.

I just had this vision of Tom on his scooter giving you about a week and a half notice before he got there........

He might have a bigger jug on that and it may be a week!

Here's the last time he ran one of his 'Widow Makers'-- They used to be direct drive and he'd have the engine revved then drop it off of the center stand but I 'think' he figured out how to have a clutch

I went looking and found this. I hope all will enjoy!

    Default A Whole Wheat Adventure

Trying out a new Flour making a Crusty Dutch Oven Bread

Not a huge fan of it but it was a gift from friends visiting last week from CO
I had to give it a try

Not as much rise out of the Whole Wheat Flour for sure

    Not a bad Crumb
    Light and Airy chew
Not bad for a full Whole Wheat bake, the taste was pretty darn good too.

If I were to try this again I think I would cheat and do 3 cups Whole Wheat and 1 cup White flour.

    On a side note:

Most people know this, but I wasn't watching the new pup and she did what she had never done before.
She nosed into the bowl that had the dough rising in there, and ate about a Tablespoon or so.
This can be deadly to a dog, we lucked out and she threw it up within 30 min, so no Emergency Vet
Spent all last night poking and prodding her belly making sure there was no distention.

    Puppys are so fun
