We don't get weather that cold in my parts...Even in the dead of winter . I like the cold, and I sure as hell would prefer that there was no TV in the house for the entertainment of the troops. I wuld much rather them sitting around playing games or instruments or singing or making something or...etc.etc

I like the cold because, as I always tell my wife, I finally get to wear clothes instead of getting around half naked and sweating like a b@st@rd. Mind you, clothes in the middle of winter consist of jeans and a t-shirt mostly. If I'm lucky I get to go put a light jacket on. And of course my favourite wool flatcap gets to get a dusting off .

You know they have a shire village in New Zealand still don't cha? Unfortunately it's on private property and is a tourist attraction as well.
I could use a snowball or two at the moment...Wish it would just bl**dy well rain!
