Puerh 2001 with a touch of milk, and lavash with cheese and bell pepper

    Those lavash rolls looks tasty.
Is it raw or ripe puerh?
I'm just starting out on the puerh trail.

The puerh is ripe, I actually never tried the raw. The first puerh I had was a ripe one from the menghai factory, and I was so smiten by it I have just continued down that path.

Oh yea, lavash.. good stuff that.

Ahoy, drinkers of the tea!! I just put in a tea order to Dragon Tea. Some more Pu Erh, of course the one I like, that was on sale, is no longer on sale. But, oh well, ya snooze ya lose. I also ordered some Lapsang Souchong. I've never tried the LS before, but from it's description and what comments I've read, it sounds like something I'd like. Having no experience with it, I just picked one and hit the buy button. If I really like it, I'll work out the details later on another order, should I like it.

Here's a question for ya'll. I saw someone on TV grilling some fish and using a foil packet full of tea leaves to add flavor. So, I started keeping my used tea leaves. As I normally do, once I start something, I don't quit. I now have a ever increasing bunch of tea and was wondering if there are any other uses for them? I'm attaching a photo, the bowl is larger than it looks, and the tea is a combination of what I drink. So, it's Pu Erh, black, green, oolong, all mixed together. Anyone have any ideas for uses??

I've wondered about pu'erh for years but never tried it as I couldn't find it locally. Any suggestions as to a good place to order a small amount of reasonable quality and price?

    Thanks

The smoking with tea leaves is a wonderful way to introduce some smoke to a light meal, I use it during winter when it gets too cold for a BBQ around here. I have never tried it with used leaves though. I can't see it doing any harm on the smoker. Since the leaves are already is used I am wondering if there is much flavour left in them. Might be I have to try for myself, BBQ season is officially on here (drunken chicken on right now, 4 hours so far. Should be done in a couple hours perhaps).
