i do agree with you there, i tend to like my tea strong, so i use as much as 3 tbl per pot, so your 2/3 to 1/3 was an easy ratio to put together.

Tonight my Taiwanese friend gave me one of these:
    Xiaguan First Grade Tuo Cha Pu-erh Tea 2004 100g Raw - PU-ERH
I don't know the year, and he couldn't see it on the wrapper either. As much as I can see of the wrapper in the pic, it's the same.
He got it as a gift when he was in Kunming some time ago.
I haven't tried it yet. This is getting exciting

Tell me Olav does your friend want a new friend, if he's giving away pu erh cakes. I want to be his friend also. Looks like a nice cake, but bela is more knowable than I on that subject.

He probably wouldn't mind more friends, but no more Pu erh cakes there. I think I got his only one.
He is more into green and oolong I believe.

    Default TOTM

    Todays brunch.
Turkish tea and bacon and eggs. An unorthodox combo maybe

    We surely do.
I really like the way they drink tea in Turkey, and I was able to buy a classic kettle set and really thick bottomed plain glasses, when we visited friends there in 2009.
I don't know why, but I don't like the ones with gold and stuff on them.
And the glasses can also be used as Single Malt snifters

Don't drink single malt that much these days, but I never thought of that. Pretty good idea !

Tee-Oh-Tee-Em (TOTM) (Tea Of The Moment)

'Oriental Twist' (Jasmine flowers, Green tea, Lychees); two two finger pinches, 'Apple-tree Tea' (Apple pieces), two one finger pinches, and Robur Signal Black tea; two two finger pinches. One cube of sugar was enough; which is good, as there was only two cubes left; and now I have a cube of sugar to make my twin brother a cup...
