Like fisheggs through a straw? Sounds suspicious.
Long Jing this afternoon, I would drink this all day everyday if I could afford to. Japanese pot, Chinese tea, English cup...wish I had more than an hour before peace and quiet vanishes for the day.
Accompanied by Milstein playing Bach:

Thanked: 983I got me one of them fiddle things, but I can't play it like that bloke...Actually I can't play it at all. Spend too much time on other pursuits (musically) to put time into violin. Bloody nice tea drinking music though. Like to see someone playing violin and drinking tea at the same time...Now that would be a feat and a half!

I just discovered this thread and, what a surprise!!!
I am a professional tea taster and researcher, drink tea all day long, of course I am having it in this very moment, a Dong Yang Dong Bai brewed in a YiXing teapot.
It is such a pleasure to see this thread has 57 pages and that means, with my joy, in this forum there is also room for other pleasing things of life.
Looking forward to regularly read and write in this thread! Well done!

Thanked: 20Razorguy - what an awesome job you have!!!
I've been checking out this thread lately. You guys are much more elegant tea drinkers than me, though. I tend to go with Liptons most of the time! But I agree, tea any way, shape, or form is good stuff. I always feel very at peace when I drink tea, love the stuff!!!

Thanked: 443I just saw Razorguy's post out on the main page, and followed it here. I skipped to Page 57 but will backtrack and read some more. As it is for razorguy, this is a very pleasant surprise for me, to discover such an overlap in this already special community.
As a botany major in college, I planned on going into the tea trade. Well, that didn't happen, and it's been decades since I really carefully collected and enjoyed tea. Now I've finished my electrician's apprenticeship, am just a few weeks from earning my license, and mostly drink instant coffee. But my life will settle, and I can at least resume the more contemplative beverage."These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."
