I have. Its even richer in flavor than the 12 year old. But its cask strength and it requires a good splash of water to bring out its best. Its a bit more untamed than the regular bottles. I would definitely recommend it though.

It's my favorite. I love the small differences from one batch to another.

They're what got me to enjoy and appreciate scotch in the first place.

Has anybody tried Tobermory, either unpeated or Ledaig? I'm going to pick up a bottle this weekend, for no other reason than the Isle of Mull is my ancestral Scottish homeland

Since this is my first post in this thread I should add the disclaimer that I'm not exactly uninitiated in the world of whiskey and single malts...

I just read through this whole thread, and not one mention of Dalwhinnie!? One of my favorites, and I definitely want to pick up a bottle of Laphroiag 10 soon too. You guys are gonna make me blow my budget!

Just finished off the bottle of Laphroaig QC that I had poured into the carafe to make the bottle into a lamp for a friend!
Still some Ardbeg 10 and Caol Ila to go through. Will replace the Laphroaig and add some Lagavulin and probably Ardbeg's Uigeadail when we do a border run next.
