Default Tobermory Limited Edition Single Malt, 15 Years Old

I pulled this out for its portrait just in time...it turns out that what's in the glass is the last of it!

Bet you savoured it, I always find the last of something like that always tastes the best.
I was on my holidays on the isle of Mull a couple of years ago and done the Tobermory distillery tour, good wee set up they have. Though I must admit I was more interested in the tasting session at the end

Ah, Tobermory - my ancestral homeland Scotch. Indeed, my Great Grandfather was from the Isle of Mull. I'd love to visit there but it's so bloody expensive....

Good to see another Tobermory fan here. Great stuff, though I'm surely biased. That reminds me, I think I'm down to the last dram myself

Actually, I poured it back into the bottle after I shot the photo...I don't think that it was even noon the time. But I'm enjoying it immensely, as I type this!

I've always wanted to visit Scotland, even before I discovered scotch. Now I have more incentive...too much, in fact: there's just too many distilleries I'd want to visit!

By the way: it seems that we may have something else in common...I'm a Kevin, too!

Whether you're biased or not, Tobermory is indeed great stuff. SWMBO presented it to me as a surprise gift (I guess I'll keep her; it's probably too late to dump her after nearly 40 years, anyway)...and now it would be my daily dram if only I could afford such luxury!

I'm about half-way through those last precious drops in the photo...in case you're also imbibing: Slāinte mhōr agad!

Another Kevin, sure that practically makes you Irish. If you ever get over to Scotland, take a couple of days out to visit N Ireland and come to Bushmills near me. Oldest distillery in the world, since 1608

Just picked up a bottle of Auchentoshan Three wood and arrived home with it. Going to open it now. Never had it before, so I'm looking forward to tasting it. Notes likely to follow.

I went to the locall bar & grill tonight with a buddie. I had a glass of Glenmorangie. Good stuff! My friend had a Yamakazi. Not sure of the spelling on that one. Anyway, the recomendation of Glenmorangie as a starter Scotch was spot on. Thanks, gents.
