Totally forgot to add my only Henkels to the listing
While it is a 4/8, and while I don't care much for the little ones.. It was my grandfathers, and I will save and use this razor at least once a year in rememberence. Touching it up on his coticule as well

Riding the fence on joining the clan
So I definitely should NOT have shaved w/ it.
6/8 square point, #410 in what was sold as, and others agree wearing ivory scales. 'Has a slight smile, which I like alot, and I doubt it was ever honed more than once. A few strokes on the 8k was all it needed before going to finishing.
I've always been ambivalent at best on Henckels - an attitude gained exclusively from their kitchen cutlery. They seem awful proud of their stuff, and even w/out taking cost into consideration, there's better. Factor in cost, and they're very low on the totem IME. So that's the attitude I brought to the first shave. I can only conclude whoever was over their razor production was far more concerned w/ quality than the person over their kitchen cutlery. It was clearly up in the exceptional end of shaves - probably the best I've had from a full hollow. Other hollows have included dovo stainless, genco fluid steel, Reppenhagen (diamondine) and wacker.
'Gotta give the Teutonic devil his due - this was really impressive.

My word, these razors are really as good as they all say aren't they. Here's my one and only so far. 5/8 half hollow, number 49 1/2. Sorry about the photo quality.
