Default Henckels # 14 carbon steel

    Dear all,

Here the latest addition to my J.A. Henckels Zwillingwerk collection:

a true # 14 in carbon steel and with 24,5 mm blade width between 7/8 and 8/8.

The intention is to have it restored to mint condition as the straight razor is in a good base state for this.

Suggestions for for "tha mother of all J.A. Henckels Zwillingwerk # 14 restorers" welcome.

I'm still very much on the hunt for the same J.A. Henckels Zwillingwerk # 14 razor in 8/8 Friodur spec, so also here offers / suggestions welcome.

    Kindest regards, Jazor.

I put this one on SOTD and Restorations. Love those Henks! Nice razors, Guys! I have not seen a blade like this one. Has anyone else? I would like to try and date it,. The original scales were of black celluloid with collarless pins and metal wedge. Thanks!

I was actually wondering if I purchased it from you. The brass wedge on my looks exact? It is a great razor. I love the fridours!

Y'all are giving me Henckels AD! Keep the posts coming in this thread and the other clubs. I just love getting my RAD perking.

I just searched my database of razors and realized I didn't post this one amongst the many other. This is one that I have some special feelings for but I don't know why. Hope you enjoy.

Dear Joed, it was not Henckels AD. I do'nt want to sell my Henkels razors. I love mine also.

Sorry for the confusion. I am referring to 'AD' as Acquisition Disorder as in RAD (razor acquisition disorder) and not advertisement.
