Mid morning shave, had errands to run this morning so the shave waited till I got home.

Face wash warm water and soap.
Hot towel from the nuke box on face for about 3 minutes.
Whipped up some SRD Sandalwood with the Badger brush (took about 2 1/2 minutes).
Lathered face and used the Dovo Black Star making passes in four different directions (more on the chin)
    Trimmed the mustache.
    Ice water rinse and towel.
    Thayers Original Witch hazel.
Nivea and Bay Rum mixed for the finish.

Smoooooth and no burn. I think I am getting the hang of this.

But I digress...Back to shaving: I used the Livi for the first time today...Wowwww!!!! Very nice indeed . This thing is wickedly sharp. But boy, did it shave...What a feeling . I am ready for the day...bring it on.

My last road shave! I'm home tomorrow evening where I have a lot more options to choose from. With any luck, I'll have a few new blades waiting for me: my new Revisor and a new Wacker among them! In the meantime, my travel setup has remained constant:

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

I do get a nick now and then though, so blood is no stranger in our bathroom, even though I usually try and keep it from touching the scales

Can you tell me more about the Levi, how you feel about it an so? ... Lol. Seriously though, it looks very, very, very nice and I would love to own one.
I see...old blood stain remains from the previous victim

You should definitely get a Livi, if you have the budget...it is well worth it. it's not for the faint of heart (budget-wise or sharpness). I do love the satin-ish finish on the blade. The signature on it is also beautiful as are the scales. The shave is fantastic...but so are the other razors in my arsenal. I think, that this Livi is definitely a work of art to be appreciated and can compete with some of the famous Filis as far as the quality of shaves.

    I hope I made sense

Thanks Mark! I haven't used it for awhile and that's what started my shave kit selection this morning. My DW found it at a thrift store. (She finds good stuff! LOL)

You evil, evil man...You know what you are doing is illegal José - i.e., Dangling the carrot in front of us knowing full well that we can't have it. That Taurino is absolutely gorgeous buddy. I know they made 6 in the series of Taurinos, and the one you have is one of them.
