Thanks for your kind words Robert. Yes he have sophisticated taste like his mother...
Vetiver like you say is a raw scent, I'm not to sure about it. But it's a really good cream, love the performance of it. I'll probably buy another scent of Cyril R Salter...
cheers
Dominic

Week of June 5 SOTD - Monday
Pre-Shave: Hot shower Brush: 24mm Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger Razor: 6/8" Maestro Livi, Full Hollow Ground, Round Point (Amboyna Burl scales) Strop: 40/60 laps (Neil Miller linen / SRD Premium IV leather) Überlather: Acca Kappa "1869" Shave creme + Acca Kappa "1869" Shave Soap + Glycerin Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol) Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue AS Cologne: Acca Kappa "1869" EdC Results: An all Italian shave today. I don't use this Livi all that often these days , but she's a great shaver. Refreshed her edge on the Nakayama Asagi last night and she was popping hairs with barely even touching them (phew !!!...this thing can take a heck of an ultra sharp edge for sure). The Acca Kappa combination is always an ultra luxurious experience I can count on every single time . Finished things off with a touch of Floid, followed by the AK "1869" EdC...BBS, smooth and sporting a nice big smile on my face .

Have a MARVELOUS Monday gentlemen .

Prep: Hot shower - followed by Proraso pre-post-shave cream
SS: Martin De Candre “Savon a Raser”

Razor: 5/8” Maxterpiece Otto Busch “Weltmeister”
Astringent: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel
ASB: Anherb Natural Aftershave Conditioner

This Martin De Candre shaving soap is simply fantastic! It lathers easier than a lot of quality shaving creams I have utilized over the years. Robert, please order me a case. It’s that good.

Thanked: 17Well after a 14 day fire tour in northern Alberta I had a good thick beard to slay this morning...
Prep: hot shower followed by a lingering initial lather while stropping
Soap: Fitjar Såpekokeri Light house bay rum
Brush: Rooney best badger
Razor Dovo black star
Post shave: Witch Hazel and a hot cup of coffee
This was the best post tour shave I have ever had! Had a few nicks, but given I was shaving around blackfly bites I got what I expected. Smooth and comfortable !

BIRTHDAY SHAVE
PREP: Hot shower
RAZOR: Wellington
BRUSH: Rudy Vey
SOAP: Arko
ASTRINGENT: Thayers
ASB: Skinfood
EDT:Le Labo Vetiver
RESULTS: EXCELLENT!!
Had a great weekend in Vegas, lots of eating, gambling, and scruff growing, so I had a few days growth today when I got back. This Wellington took it all off with ease. This is one sharp beast. Also the arko shave stick was surprisingly good. I love the smell of it , and my face is ultra moisturized. All in all a great B day shave.
AWESOME PHOTOS TODAY AND YESTERDAY GUYS!!!!!!
HAVE A GREAT ONE

Good evening Gentlemen
Shave prep: Face wash
Brush: Omega boar brush Model # 81052
Soap: Crabtree & Evenly Nomad
Razor: J. A. Hellberg, Eskilstuna, 4/8 wedge
Strop: nun2sharp's hanging leather strop
After Shave Splash: Lavender Spice home blend
Notes: Very comfortable and smooth shave this evening. Two days in a row now with swedish steel, and they both remind me why I love them. This one has an incoming rescale, there is a breakage in the scales but it is on the very end, just the tip and away from the pivot so it is stable and fine to use. Just one of these days I'll get around to it...
