[QUOTE=eTom;796754]Friends,
at first I'll give you today the link to my web-gallery: "Israel"
Israel 2011
Thank you so much for posting the pictures! What an experience! You must be the worldliest guy ever! It was nice to see things from a proper perspective and from through the lens of a good man! How fortunate and blessed you are!
Enjoy! Tom"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanks for he kind words Jamie. I look forward to seeing your posts with the straight in the very near future my friend. Neil is an amazing gentleman to deal with as well. Good choice
I know ...you da man
Thank you
Sorry to hear about your experience today. But yes, pressure and Feathers don't go hand in hand at all. Hopefully, your skin wasn't too ravaged by the insult and will recover by tomorrow or the next day.
Looking forward to it Tom...and that's too funny about the firefighters, LOOOOL
Good to hear you had fun at golf. It's always fun to get back into something you were forced to take a break from
Dont get me wrong...I (and my wife) also like the Lavender scent, but I've always been more partial to woody/smoky scents. Mrs is neutral about both (i.e., like them all equally well). The Limette is great but doesn't last too long on me. The MdC bath soaps (fougère) are fantastic. Don't care for their shampoos much though...has SLS.
Thank you...I knew you'd appreciate it, LOL.
Awesome shave and gear maestro. How's the Creed? Never tried it, but heard that the new formulation is really not worth the price this soap commands.
See? I know how to make you drool, LOOOOOOOL.
Rene,
How did you like it? Nice FR to complement the MdC...Hope you had fun at the B-day party/
Thank you for the nice words Mikael. Glycerin is easy (and cheap) to get..>Drugstores or even eBay has many to choose from. In addition, it is a great addition if you have to much water in your lather....just add a few drops and it sucks up the water and bring the lather back to life (not always though)
David,
First off...we missed you too buddy. Second, congrats (or condolences, depending on how you look at it, LOOOOL) on the full time job. Third, that Dorko is magnificent. I like the shoulderless look of her. She's a beauty. Me want it (drool, drool)
Congrats on the 40th reunion Monroe. Wowww, 40 years!!!! That's quite an accomplishment. How did you find your college mates?
DRH Arlington is indeed fabulous in every sense. I think you should also try the regular soap in a bowl. You will also find her to be a regular addictive part of any shave den
Tom,
Sorry I didn't get a chance to comment on yesterday's shave, but it looked fabulous. Well done my friend.
Wowww. What a fabulous looking razor Tom. How was NASCAR?
That's women for you, LOOOOOL. Great shave btw. Love that Dovo.
I LOOOOVE shaves like that. It's always the ones that eave you speechless. Well done. Great gear too.
A beautiful shave Mark...but I am so sorry the Mavs lost. Series at 2-1 in favor of Miami. One more game. For what it's worth, I am rooting for Dallas too.
Hey Dominic,
Your boy is adorable...He has sophisticated tastes if he's into frogs (or their legs rather), LOOOOL.
Beautiful razor. The CS Vetiver is a very woodsy/raw vetiver and very very strong. it needs to breathe. I, personally, love that raw scent. It's one of the best I have smelled to date. Hopefully, it'll grow on you. Regardless, it is a great performing creme.
All I can say is: Great job and congrats on the closest shave to date (despite the nick)

Back from Israel I like it to use each day another razor.
One for a trip is definitely not enough.
Have a nice week, friends!

Monday
Good morning.
Today I thought I should try SE shaving for the first time.
Ever Ready & Gem > New Forest > Top Secret > [IK balm] > [Floris No. 89 EdT]
Well, yes, the shave is very very close as well as effortless. But I did get some irritation in the neck. Perhaps I applied too much pressure.
The blade sat flat but not even, on one side the edge remained more inwards. I suspect it has to do with this particular razor.
The Portuguese shave cream smells very nice and once you get the correct lather, properly hydrated, then it's fantastic.

Monday morning
Good morning gents.
Pre-Shave: A hasty shower Brush: Shavemac D01, 25mm, 2 band silvertip Razor: Globusmen Gold, 6/8" #44 First Class Strop: SRD Premium IV, English Bridle Soap/Cream: Martin de Candre. Astringent: Alum Osma After shave Balm: MdC Coprah Oil EdT: Marin de Candre, Eau de Lavande Results: A good shave, not stellar for some reason. The razor might need a fine tuning on the hones. I rushed thing a wee bit today, so it might just be that.

Thanks, Robert. I have a review up in the review section which I've recently updated. It has superb moisturising properties and goes so well with the R&G balm. After a year with it now, I think the scent is disappearing a bit, but it is delicate either way. It's a soap with bee's wax and lanolin and feels great on the face. I don't get anywhere near as much sting as I did when I tried, Kent/MWF. Let me know if I can answer any other questions on this soap.
