Pre-Shave: A nice long shower to start the day.
    Brush: Semogue 2010 LE Silvertip
    Maxterpiece: Dovo 55
    Strop: Ambrose Ebano Horsehide
    Soap/Cream:Bomb Custom Vetiver Blend
    Astringent: Thayer's Lavender
After shave Balm: Bomb Custom Vetiver Blend
    EdT: Sigilli Athunis
Results: What a Friday! I hadn't used my Bomb lately (heck, I haven't used any product lately because I've only shaved three times in over 2 weeks) and so I reached for my favorite, a custom scent with a healthy kick of vetiver. The lather worked up into an incredible soft, cushioned dream and the Dovo danced it in like a ballerina wiping away the little stubble I had left after yesterday's shave. The piece-de-resistance today was my newest cologne find: Sigilli Athunis this excellent earthy vetiver with a cedar note underneath is unbelievable! It's all featured today on our second new rug from the vacation.
    Bring on the world!!

Result:No shave yesterday after being so smooth with the Engelswerk on Wednesday. The Barnes is a smily old wedge customized by Alex Jacques. She is an amazing shaver and is the blade that made me fall in love with old sheffield wedges. I'm on the hunt, but haven't found a good deal on any yet.

    Have a fantastic Friday everyone!

Clearly, I was mistaken. That's not your TV, it's your new Lenovo they're taking!

    Razor:Tally Ho
    Pre-shave:Noxzema
    Brush:Unknown boar
    Soap:Handmade Naturals Frankincense
    AS:Thayers Lavender and Avon Spicy
Result:After yesterdays debacle of a shave, I decided to bring the Tally Ho out for a go. This was one of those shaves where I had to keep checking to make sure that the razor was cutting the whiskers as I couldn't feel it on my face at all. Smooth, comfortable 2 pass CBS. Couldn"t ask for anything more.

That "Hollywood face" of yours deserves a great treatment like today. Well done.

You sent us your rain...We're having a beautiful mellow rainy morning here in Los Angeles. We needed it too. That JR is a true stunner mate. Enjoy your day.

I had some of my best vacations in Greece. Fabulous place to go to and visit,. Warm culture, great food and amazing historical places. How's the situation there these days? I know the economy sank big time and the country is bankrupt...Syntagma square is probably not the same anymore with people/demonstrators frustrated at the austerity measures imposed.

    PS: Lovely shave today btw

And he brings out his #55. Great razor to start the day Bill. That EdT sounds amazing indeed. So does the rug (you must have hauled some heavy luggage on your way back, LOL). Well done buddy

Nice wedge Glenn...Customized by AJ? What did he do to it (just curious). Keep a close eye out on eBay. There are some good ones to be had. I recently saw a very clean Frederick Reynolds wedge. I'll let you know if I come across one.

    T.,
Max and I were recently talking about exactly this. Sometimes a blade can have such a "perfect" edge that your eyes/ears can deceive you. They are silent killers...no sound whatsoever. You have to check manually to be sure. Well done
