I recommend invested in a Rose soap as well (Trumper's makes a good one too). I sometimes like combining various florals together (Violet + Rose or Lavender + Rose, etc...).
Robert, it sounds fantastic! I'll do it.
    Thanks.

Incredible razor Robert! And thanks for the comment on my photo. A rainy day is good for photography, and I use what I can find outside, not having a studio setup

    Default Monday

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Razor: Revisor 6/8
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/English Bridle
    Soap/Cream: Cella
    After shave: Musgo Real
Results: Quick shave today, not that I was in a hurry, it just went fast, barely 15 minutes for shower and a close and comfortable two pass shave. My first straight shave eleven months ago took me about an hour, at that time I never thought I'd actually be able to shave faster with a straight than with carts, and certainly not to have a comfortable shave in that time. It's fun to see the results of the last year's effort.

Had lunch and watched the Devil game with Sara today. Then had a nice shower and shave. Nice way to spend the day.

Warm Shower, Burt's Bees rubbed into the whiskers.
    Warm oil
    Dirty Bird Scuttle
    Castle Forbes and MDC combined.
    Custom Badger Brush
Robert Williams Damascus, 1/4 hollow in Ivory
    SRD 50 Linen/100 leather
    Thayer's Rose Petal
    Vaseline for men

What can I say but wonderful shave. While cleaning up in the basement ran across some albums I've save over the years.
