Angel, is that a Mont Blanc pen case you are using to store your razor in? Good idea, I like your style.

I agree with your sentiments with regards the TOBS Rose, it's great.

I think Yoda is looking rather refreshed after his trip to Greece, I have noticed he looks a little greener than usual, must be all those Greek olives he ate,

    Default Monday morning

    Pre-Shave: A shower
Brush: Plisson Pur Blaireau Haute Montagne
Razor: Filarmonica Especial Para Barbas Duras
Strop: Neil Miller custom Cordovan Shell/genuine linen
    Soap/Cream: Boellis Panama 1924
    Scuttle:Schwarzweisskeramik, Large White
Astringent: Osma Alum, rinse, Thayer's Medicated SuperHazel
After shave Balm: Boellis Panama 1924
    EdT: Boellis Panama 1924 Millesime
Results: I started today's shave with another razor, but that didn't feel right, I must've done something wrong while honing it. Back to the stones with that one As a backup I grabbed the "blue wonder". Nothing wrong with that one, the shave was saved, and my face feels very comfortable and smooth. The boellis performed great too, and the smell does suit the typical fall weather here in Norway today

I had planned on a very relaxing, drawn out shave today...but the 2 ½ year old had other plans. I believe she has hit the “3's” early as her new favorite word is “NOT”. This word seems to pop up in the strangest places. Allow me to provide a few entertaining examples.

Example #1: She didn't want to go to bed and I was carrying her up the stairs when she smacked me in the face. She was rewarded with time out and in order to get out of time out, she must say “Sorry, no hit Daddy”. Well, she kept saying “I NOT sorry, I NOT sorry!”....this was really hard not to laugh at. After a long drawn out battle, she finally got it right.

Example 2: She was crying as I accidentally scared her when I hurried towards her saying “no,no,no” in an effort to to keep her from hitting her head on a wooden scarecrow while we were at the pumpkin patch. I picked her up and said “It's ok, Daddy loves you”...her reply “No, No, No, Daddy NOT love you!”, my wife chimes in “yes Daddy loves you, tell Daddy you love him”...her reply, ”No, I NOT love Daddy, I NOT!”...a little sting as this was the first time I heard that, but again, difficult not to laugh at the assertion of this normally sweet little girl.

Example #3:At Sunday school, they do 1 memory verse each month. They work on the verse each Sunday, even with the 2 year olds. This month's verse is “I can do all things through Christ”. Here is what she said is her memory verse “I can do all things through NOT Christ”...I'm speechless and trying, again, desperately not to laugh.

Great shaves fellas, keep them coming!

    Glenn,
Don't take away the "NOT" from your little girl. Rather, start re-directing them to the boys who will be knocking on your door soon enough.

Enjoy the moments, they are precious.

    Prep: Hot shower
    Brush: Semogue SOC two band
    Razors: E A Berg + J A Hellberg
    Soap: Nannys French Lavender
    AS: Ogallala Lime and peppercorns
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Clean enough

Honed these two this morning and I was stupied enough to tighten the pins on the EAB and I was stupied enough not to get my small round hammer, to lazy for that and wham: the scales broke at one side of the tang My honing skills aren't the best either, so I got them sharp, but not sharp like I like them I'm sticking to hollow grinds for short while longer.

Mikael, I clicked "like" in the absence of an "I feel your pain" option.

Robert Williams | MdC + Lavender Bomb | Chubby 2 | Thayers Lavender | Nassamoto Black Afghano

I decided to go over the top today. I started with two top shelf products that work wonders on their own, and ubered them. The Martin de Candre and Bomb paired wonderfully scent wise and produced an incredibly thick rich lather. With a few days growth, I wanted a heavier grind, so the RW got the call. After two effortless passes, I'm BBS! Hai Ho, Hai Ho, it's off to work I go!
