    Actually this shave didn't go very well
    I had to stop my usual ATG pass due to irritation. Not sure if its the fact that I haven't used this hollow a razor for a while, or something in my technique, or if I was just having an off day.
    Shame as I do love this little razor.
    I've decided I need a decent strop now as well, although that could just be retail therapy

    Col Conk badger
    Landers, Frary and Clark "Universal" replaceable blade frameback straight razor

    This is a very sharp, thin blade so a light touch is required. The reward is a smoothtastic close shave.

    Honed yesterday,i must try the hone ,my first coticule. Must say he is slower than my Naniwa hones. But the result is good i had a perfect shave whit this Ern.

    Prep.shower
    Strop,linnen/leather
    Soap Cella
    Brush Fs fine badger
    Razor Ern 1166
    As le male
    Result. As said... good. Fresh and clean

    While the wife and kids were away last week I caught up on some honing. These 2 razors just recieved touch-ups and I'm quite happy with the results.
    3 passes and I'm BBS.
    A very satisfying shave.
