I gave this Torrey a quick refresh using Rene's 12K that he lent me. I did what he said with the hone, got a bit of slurry going with a DMT and then did a few laps as I watered down the slurry. After the 12K I did my normal stropping and then shaved. What a nice edge it took off that 12K.

I did have gear selected and a picture taken, so I'll be shaving with my Puma tomorrow night instead.

Warranted Fine Steel 1/4 Hollow-MDC/Endymion Cream-Kouros Cologne

2 mile PT run today followed by a nice hot shower and a comfortable 2 pass shave. Relax day for me and maybe go look for a new supressor Mon. Need to go apply another coat to the scales I'm making for the Sheffield Faux frameback I'm working on.

Sunday Afternoon Shave and Haircut
Prep: Bob in the pool with the grandkids, hot shower, Barbasol
Razor: Boker Red Injun 102
Brush: VDH Boar
Soap: TSD Coconut Lime Verbena
AS: Nivea Double Action Balm
Finish: Clubman Bay Rum

The edge on this razor was a bit muddy the last time I shaved with it. I decided before I took it to the stone, I'd give it a solid stropping. Two hundred laps on horsehide, tightened it right up.

Prep:	Hot Shower / Hot towel soak / Rise Baby Face Shave Gel Rubbed in thoroughly each pass
Razor:	5/8 Dixon Full Hollow 'The New Improved Eagle' in Crosscut Maple & 6/8 W&B Extra Hollow Barbers Notch in Burled Maple (The Dog Bone Razor!)
Hones:	4/8k, N12k, 100 felt /100 Horsehide / 200 Chestnut & additional 100 Horsehide prior to shave
Brush:	24mm Silvertip in American Ash by WillN
Uber:	RazoRock XXX + 4 drops Glycerine
AS:	Alum + Gillette Sensitive Skin Balm + Pinaud Clubman
Edc:	Canoe (scent matches so good with the Clubman, great combo!)
Result:	First rate shave while testing these two beauties. Both scales were made by my friend Don B. and I put a fresh honing on them both after 6 months of my abusing them. They both shaved incredibly well. DFS in 2 passes. RazoRock never fails me, I lather up after rubbing in some Rise baby face gel, very deeply rubbed in. The deeper you rub it in the smoother the shave! What a great Sunday Morning shave, 2 days growth gone in an eye blink!

My SWMBO picked out this shot of the many I took, so I hope you all like it, my first real outdoor attempt!
