Thanked: 94So today was the 4th shave in a row with Mike's Natural soaps. I added an extra shave in there to test drive a 65 Gillette slim. Today I uberlathered Mikes and Speik. The scent was very black pepper and mint. quite interesting lol.
so on to the details

Cream: Speik

Ok so I have learned a few things about this soap and myself over this period of 4 shaves. About me? I get bored with the same soap ever day regardless of how good it is...I think I have soap ADD. About this soap? Tricky to lather, when you get it hot damn! Easy to uberlather....I mean this was like cake frosting...truly good stuff today. I believe this will be a permanent player in my rotation. The only thing I found of this soap that wasnt up to snuff, is that the scent is very light. My guess is because this is a natural product. Anyway the soap feels great on the skin and makes some truly slick lather.

Thanked: 485Tuesday
A nice shave with the W&B this morning after a couple of days of no shaves. The O Melhor whipped up into a massive amount of lather, about ½ of which I wasted, as I only did one pass. I spent a nice afternoon with the little son; we went to see ‘The Hunger Games’ at the movies. I think I’ll get myself a long bow…
Archery could be the next obsession…

Back to work
Back to work today after some time-off.
I recently got this Wade & Butcher for barbers use, so I have only honed it up and given it a test run today.
I will sand down the scales a bit, and do some buffing and polishing of the steel.
Nothing major though, I'm no fan of too much restoration on these old thingys.
The shave s very nice, these razors can take a really smooth and clean edge.
I paired it with some Boellis Panama 1924 Soap and some Coral skin food.
The shavemac did as it always does, whip up some amazing lather I dig that brush!
