Me... time travel?... my tools did!

    Razor: WARRANTED/CAST STEEL ~1816
    Strop: Hand made and old
    Soap: Cella
Mug: Milk glass/silverplate with P on it
    Brush: Horsehair
    Aftershock: none
    Splash: Lucky Tiger

Seems that a couple centuries do give the steel a chance to resign itself to its fate. That blade will shave with the best! The Cella was ok but not a favorite. The Lucky Tiger was known and selling to the trade in 1921. The blown glass bottle is wobbly on its base and seems to be a lot older. The brush, any time after 1890.

The razor was one of my first finds from the wild and I made new acrylic scales for her from the old scales as a pattern.
The fun of trying things makes the day go a bit better and quicker!

    Prep: Washing the face
    Brush: SOC two band
Razor: Mappin and Webb, My trustworthy
    Soap: Fitjar, Neroli
AS: TOBS Victorian Lime + Tiger face tonic
    Strops: Neil Miller
    Result: Uberclean

Face lathered with the Fitjar cream (seems the best way with Castle Forbes and I think they feel like close relatives in both quality and texture) and it was nice and with some more practice I'll prob get it real good. Razor performed stunning!

Is it any good? How would you describe the scent and the soap's performance?
The Windsor range was launched approx 3 months ago in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The soap, however, was delayed and only came out here in the UK 5 or 6 weeks ago. The soap has the typical Harris performance(superb) and the scent has now displaced Arlington from my top spot. When I first smelled it, Pen's Blenheim Bouquet was my initial description, but in a milder form. I have since bought Terre D'Hermes EdT and the scent is almost identical to this. Harris describes it as starting with citrus overtones, maturing in to a leathery scent with notes of black pepper and vetiver. However you describe it, it definitely wins in my book.

P.S. Just seen that Bill has answered already.
