Before I share todays shave I wanna tell you a little story of my mother in law and my wonderful wife:
Yesterday my MIL phoned me and said she had an old cabinet she wanted to get rid of and wondered if my wife and I was interested in it, I told her I'd come take a look at it after work today. When my day was over I had completely forgotten about the cabinet and went straight home, the first thing my wife says is "Have you looked at the cabinet already" I was tired after a busy and quite shitty day at work, so honestly the last thing I wanted to do was to get back in the car, but I had promised I'd come over, so I did....and I'm glad I did, the cabinet was beautiful and I got my own ideas immediately
I put the cabinet in the car and went home, SWMBO looks at the cabinet and exclaims :"Wow, it's beautiful, where shall we put it?" Darn! Well, I have to try and goes on: "Uh, honey..... I was thinking......uh..maybe..uh...well, my shaving stuff would fit perfectly in there.....I could get everything into one cabinet instead og the three I use now....?" Were she to my surprise responds: "Sure!"

So here it is, my new shaving cabinet:

(The only thing that worries me a bit now is what I have to do in return...)

    Then to the shave!

    Pre-Shave: Hot shower/Proraso Pre Shave
    Brush: Simpson Chubby 1
    Razor: Revisor 6/8
Strop: 40/60 Neil Miller Linen/Kanayama Cordovan
    Soap: Tabac
    After shave: Tabac
Results: A quick, but very nice and smooth two pass DFS+ shave today. First time I try the Proraso Pre Shave, not sure how much it added to the shave, but the light menthol cooling felt nice.

Hi guys! Great shave today with yet another Wostenholm - I seem to have gathered quite a few lately. This 'Pipe' is in astounding condition, with nought but a splodge or two to upset the orginal finish. It's a perfect size and shape IMO. Here's the breakdown:

Razor: 6/8 Geo. Wostenholm and Son's 'Pipe' in the original horn scales
    Brush: Thater Olive Wood
    Scuttle: Dirty Bird
Pre: Truefitt & Hill preshave oil
    Cream: Trumpers' Limes
Post: Thayer's Witch Hazel & Trumper's Coral Skin Food

Enjoy the rest of the week gentlemen!

    Mama Bear's Rose Shave Soap
Badger brush which was a gift from Nelson at the meet up
    1959 Fat Boy, Derby Blade
    Pinaud Bay Rum
    Vaseline for men

Shaved in the shower this evening. Nice, Comfortable shave.
