    well had to clean up what i missed on the shave before from my unprofessionally honed razors honed by me ..lol..this shave came out nice .. hit it with a little 4/8 i received in the mail today, i admit my first shave with a 4/8 was not as good but now that i have a better idea of the use of a straight i think i will go back and give my little Boker another try ...
    pre= hot shower
    cream = Proraso (red)
    brush= badger
    razor= Rein=Westf , Messerschmiedeverband ( i have no clue , it must mean good shaver cause it is ..lol)

    It means "Reinland-Westfalen Knife-smith's Collective" as far as my German interpretation goes. :-)

    Saturday morning
    Hot water prep
    Filarmonica 14 Sub Cero razor - generic silvertip badger brush - LaToya SC - cold water splash - Truefitt & Hill asb - hot shower - Floid mentolado vigoroso as

    A relaxing shave in two passes. My second contact with the LaToya and I can say I like this cream. The smell is great, it makes good lather and it doesn't dry out.
    Have a great weekend Gents!

    Pre - Alum block
    Strop - 3 inch bridle leather/hard felt
    Brush - SOC 2 band badger
    Soap - TBS Macca Root
    Razor - DD Bresduck No.1 Special
    Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

    The few other brushes I have are being sadly neglected in favour of either the Semougue 1350 Boar and SOC 2 band badger. Hard to pick between those two. The boar feels softer with less back bone but the 2 band feels almost as soft but with more back bone allows a more controlled feel. The DD Special No.1 gives nothing but super shaves right up with the best of them. Love the scent and lather of the Macca Root. I don't know what the tree huggers did but they did well with that product. Enjoy your Saturday.

    He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.
