    Pre - Alum block
    Strop - 2 inch bridle leather/hard felt
Brush - SOC 2 band badger
Soap - Arko in a bowl
Razor - Carl Schlieper "High Class" 6/8
Post - Alum block followed with Thayers witch hazel

Every time I use Arko it reminds me that it is one of the slickest soaps I have used with terrific glide for a smooth comfortable shave. Good solid shave, hope yours is/was too.

This morning I broke out the vetiver. Jabonman's Haitian Vetiver is a wonderful addition to the shave den and I find myself almost hoarding it! Today the Rover whipped up a fragrant froth that left my face feeling almost as good as the den smelled! And the Wostenholm frameback did exactly what it was designed to do, it wiped away the lather and took the stubble right with it. Two passes and some clean up later, and I'm ready to tie my bow tie and head to court!

1908 Gillette Single Ring, Barbasol Arctic Chill, Aqua Velva Classic, Ge'au Pour Hommes

This Barbasol Arctic Chill isn't half bad. Good enough for a quick Friday shave anyway.

That is a great looking razor. What is it?
