    Todays moment of silence....

Starting out a Thursday with a fine shave:

    Razor: 6/8 Robeson's Best
    Brush: 6" Honey Locust (WillN)
Lather: TOBS Jermyn St. Cream (Tube)
    Post: Alum + Witch Hazel
    AS: Aqua Velva Musk
    Edt: Cuba Gold

Love that combination! It's really nice to get a shave in twice in one week!!

    Thursday afternoon "A Spanish affair"
    Hot water prep
Filarmonica 14 Sub Cero razor - La Toja sc - Silver tip badger brush - cold water splash - Thayers green resplash - Mitchells pure lanolin - hot towel - Floid balm - Floid Mentolado vigoroso as

A quick touch-up for tomorrow where I need to be clean shaven. I think this is the first time in my straight saving career that I've done three days in a row and even though the blade and the cream and the lather were all super, it has started to take its toll. A bit of redness. I went for the pure lanolin from Mitchells to soothe the skin to make things look better tomorrow. In any case, it would have come one of these days as it's a good treatment for these winter days.

    Superlative Shave

    5/8 Globusmen Gold #11
    Tabac
    Rooney 2XL "Jade"
    Thayers Lavender WH
    Floid Blue
Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue EDT

I have added something new to my Post shave. Just for grins one day I tried some Gold Bond Ultimate Healing lotion for a post shave moisturizer, and I was very inpressed. It is not greasy and gives the skin a very nice supple feeling.

    Cheers!
