Thanked: 485New Year’s Day 2013
I’m pretty sure the apostrophe is correct, though I’m prepared to have a conversation about it…
I was up early today (8:30) happy that I didn’t do the New Year thing last night but was in bed by 8:15. After a latte it was to the forest around the cemetery to take the dog for a walk. The spider webs in the grass shone in the sun.
An almost perfect shave in my bedroom later; one thirty-ish on a holiday, about 33 and sunny, listening to ABC jazz (frozen Forest by Neil Yates), drinking a Coopers low carb beer.
I touched up the De Pews on the Shapton 16k just before the shave and stropped 30/70 on the Neil Miller English Bridle and linen strop.
I’ve swapped Mme Scodioli from my bedroom shave soap container for Edwin Jagger Sea Buckthorn, and also swapped the Badger brush for the Boar (as I only use soaps in the bedroom it makes more sense).
The pitcher of hot water remained hot on this warm day; and I applied a hot face cloth to my face to soften the beard. A gentle breeze blew the lace net curtains, and as always the scent of Lavanda Eau de Toilette went so fittingly with this ‘back in time’ shave.
I love shaving here in my bedroom; it seems so old fashioned. I find it really forces me to relax, no splashing furiously about!
The next few days are going to be hot; up to 42 on Friday. I'm trying to convince myself that the planned lunchtime workout on Friday should still go ahead, but it's difficult...

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?
