Thanked: 20Just starting out in the world of wet shaving. I picked up a Parker SRW and some Shark blades. So far 7 shaves down and think I am doing fairly well.

Thanked: 39Haryali make the shavette that I use - I believe they sell, complete with blades, for less than £5 on ebay.
The first shave, having come from a Gillete multi-blade razor, was a lesson in humility but by the third shave I'd got the hang of it. The shavette came with 10 double edged razor blades and gives a far better shave than my previous multi-blade - perfect.

Thanked: 7I've got two.
A Dovo Shavette which I mainly use for travel although I bring it out occasionally at home just to keep my hand in. I like the black insert and the long blades although I also take the red insert with me when I travel in case I get the long blades taken off me (break them in half before you put them in your carry on and they go unnoticed) - although de blades aren't as easy to get as they used to be.
I've also got a Sanguine XD-50 which I got more or less out of curiosity and very rarely use (only to keep in practice really) I use Derby blades that have already been halved for this razor.
I find the Dovo Shavette with Dovo long blades a much nicer shaver than the XD which is tricky to get a good shave from without giving yourself irritation or nicks. Although of course the XD will give you a great shave if your technique is spot on.

I have both the Feather Artist RG Straight Razor folder and the CJB which I like better. The Feather Guard blades are my preference. I normally shave with a straight but the CJB is as good on my face.

Thanked: 6I have both a parker and a Dovo shavette, I started using Derby Blades, moved to Astra which I prefer.
Now with the Dovo I tend to use the longer dovo blades. I like the length and how they're closer to a SR.

I have a Universal shavette from Italy that takes a full DE blade and I also have the Feather AC SS in the folding and non-folding. The non-folding is by far my favorite of the three to use and reach for it the most (after my real straights of course).
