How sturdy is the Push Type Blade style? I was looking into one of those; Parker makes a PTB which is a push-style, but I'm apprehensive that I might flick the blade release and do some damage. Anyone care to share an experience with this style?

To be honest I do not like them at all. Bought one from Sally it's a piece of junk. Try the Italian shavette

    Thank You.
    Is a great shaver.
Jaguar blades are very good ... long better than Dovo, IMHO.

Here are my shavettes. Very cheap. Very effective, efficient. Close shavers.
    CJB(Korean)
    Sam Seong Professional(Korean)
    E. Weck & Sons (bottom 3)

For the CJB, Sam Seong, Kai and Feather, you can use the Feather Pro Super and have more blade exposure.

I have the CJB, a Dovo and this Fromm that I picked up just today. It takes the Personna blades like the Weck and gives an amazing shave

By the way, how do you like the Sam Seong? Does it feel very different that the CJB or about the same?

I just added the Kai Excelia. Another Japanese brand/model similar to the Feather DX, in that it is a non-folding handle, yet it is heavier and amore pleasing design. I think the metal and workmanship is better with the Kai than the CJB and others like it.
