Quite an interesting day, a few days ago I ordered a box of Feather Professional blades online, I think it was about $16 with shipping. ..the usual price for a box of Feather blades....

Except take a look at the picture, this is what came in the mail....no packing slip or mention of the company that fulfilled the order....quite a happy accident if I do say so myself! [emoji2]

That looks close to a lifetime supply of feathers!

If it wasn't exactly for the reasons you mention, I'd probably be using a nice Merkur adjustable DE and that would be that.

So I did the math, I Shave roughly once per week, at 20 shaves per blade, and 200 blades...that approximately 78 years worth of shaves.....if I shave twice a week, 34 years haha....the metal will probably corrode long before I run out of blades haha

Once a week!?!? Some of us shave 6 times a week! And by some of us I mean me, the job

The funny thing is, with DE and SE blades at the prices they are, aside from my straights I probably have 10 years worth of disposable blades myself.

Haha I know it's weird, im 30 Years Old and have never needed to shave more than once or twice per week at the most....despite the fact that my beard is very thick....it just grows very, very slow hah
