I was pulling it out of the drawer and the tab that hangs down and prevents the drawer from pulling out grabbed the edge of the box and flipped it out of my hand onto the tile. This was a perfect stone too in immaculate condition and a great finisher, a little short but still excellent.
    So what did I do?...

Went to Dan's and bought an 8X2 in a box. No picture yet since the one you see is the one you buy which is now (since I bought it) not on the site to grab a picture of. Shoulda got a screenshot when I had the chance. Pics on arrival.

8"X 2" X 1" hard black should ease the pain some. I'll hand it to Dan's, I checked it across, lengthwise and diagonally and this thing is dead flat.

Ooooh, pretty. Faux horn huh? In the pic it's indistinguishable.

Thanks. Faux or not, I love the look. To me it's nicer than wood.

Some "faux" must be more faux than others. To look at it I would think it was horn.

It's amazing what they can do with resin in razor handles, and in brushes. Elite Razor Brush also turns out great work.

Last year I decided to stop buying soaps and creams until I used up much of what I had in the den. It's taken some time, but I finally cleared some shelf space. Bought some shave soaps/creams I've not used before and face soaps for prep. Forgot how much fun it is to open a box of new stuff

It’s a hoot. A full tub of soap lasts for a very long time. I try to buy as much of it as I can in smaller formats, in part so I can open more packages with being wasteful.

Big ol' chunk o' Chinese rock and a little chunk for slurry. Meh, I gave my last one away and they were cheap so...I figured I'd get a biggun. Being so thick, it could be a 4 sided stone.
