Wedge is OK, didn't touch the handle yet. Been working on honing them and trying them out. I am letting my beard grow for another day so I will be able to compare the near wedge Findlay to the other razors and see if I like it or not.

lol. The suspense is killing me. Since you beat me to it, you could at least have the courtesy to use the thing.

I've used it, but I didn't have much growth on the face when I used it, so it was harder to tell how it was doing for me.

Well, I think it is my honing skills. All 5 razors will pop hair off of my arm when the blade is off of the skin, but I am still learning how to hone/strop. I have a short haircut, so no hair for the HHT. Under 20X magnification, the edges look good and clean, so it may also be my technique. I plucked some boars bristle out of my Omega 49, and it will pop the hairs if I drag them perp to the edge (catches and then audibly pops and hair jumps), but the board bristle is pretty thick to begin with.

I thought Cedric would have put a pretty good edge on it before auction. Or it could be you're not used to wedges? I don't think they need a different technique, per se, but they perform a bit differently. Well, have fun with it, but take care, yeah? It looks a beautiful piece.
