    Mike, that pipe is CRAZY! What a fantastic job you did! The grain almost looks 3 dimensional.

    You bet yer butt illdo some of this with ivory. The contrast will look incredible.

    A few thoughts on that. We spend 1/3 of our waking hours at work. It is a big influence to the rest of our lives. Being happy at work is a giant accomplishment. When growing up we get certain messages from our mentors. The one message that I have worked very hard to pass on is " the only requirements to being successful is to be happy and to be self supporting". It sounds to me like there are some very successful people around here.

    I kinda miss construction too. Framed houses for 20 years. And those pouches will last you forever Andrew. Very nice my friend.

    My last set I bought at the local hardware store. It's made by Task, has worked great for 5 or so years but it has its flaws. I love the way these pouches are set up, and from the reviews, I'm thinking I'll really really like it.

    Thanks Mike. I am actually about 100 Kim's north of the pin on the north coast, when I am at home, and when I am at work I am about 20 Kim's south of the pin.

    Just got a 100 blade re-supply of my favorite Voskhod DE blades. I'm glad Amazon has them now, with Prime delivery for $11.00. I have a freind that ordered 1,000. I'm not kidding. He loves them so much he ordered a lifetime supply in case the factory ever shuts down. I may order another 100 just in case, but 1,000 is a bit overkill IMO. But to each their own!

    Arriving tomorrow via Prime is a re-supply of some aftershaves.

    Also getting some Orange Blossom Aftershave and a new neck duster and powder bowl on Monday. I put Pinaud Talc in a powder bowl and use a neck duster after shaving my back neck (with a mirror of course).

    Mahalo!

    That grain, and contrast is just so unique. My next build, no finish I believe as on this pipe. Cause every finish I used filled that calligraphy looking contrast and the project became solid black. Beautiful, but solid black..

    Now you turn a handle out of this stuff, and some of that ivory you have!!!
    OMG, that'd be the HarryWally Special I'd have to buy..
    Superb work on that pipe Mike.

    I was actually going to post, that pipe makers refer to bogwood as Morta and create some awesome looking pipes with unique grains but then you go and post a pipe made out of Morta/Bog wood.

    @Harrywally, great looking workbelt.
