    Good morning Gentlemen

It's a beautiful, sunny.....and cold day here in the mountains. Ahhhh.....Super Bowl Sunday, so it's kinda quiet on my emails. I suppose all men across America are busy planning out their day to watch the game this evening.

For our AS selection this time there are 3. For no special reason, other than if I'm sending AS out there's no reason not to throw in one more. I'm going with colored electrical tape this time on the bottle to prevent the ink from disappearing, and as my selection of electrical tape is somewhat limited our theme color is "Red" "White/Clear" and "Blue" ....chuckle.

There are 3 different scent blends. Studying the dry down part has helped me a lot, because WOW......I had no idea they could smell so different in the bottle....and how much a scent can change thru out the day. It's time consuming to make little batches of scent and then lots of note taking at 4 hours, 8 hours, next day....etc.

One blend is still a straight EO and the other two are a mix of EO and FO. I did find enough small spray bottles to include an EDT version of whatever blend I have the most of .....I suppose for consistency all of you will receive the same blend.

Today I'm busy making the gift set that will be mailed out tomorrow. I'll post some pics if you like. I did decide to include some small complimentary items for the female persuasion in order to ease any dissappointment a significant other may be feeling for not being able to attend.

Other than that....things are fine. Just working hard.

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

I know it! I love all that old stuff too.

I'm cuttin it reaaaaaalllly close for the AS's and etc. to go in the mail this evening. ( you're sorda in competition with SRP conference basket ) I'm getting ready to print off everyone's address, and I'm not sure I'll be taking "all" of the extra measures that I normally do......I'm gonna shoot for 1/2 precautionary methods...lol...and keep my fingers crossed that nothing leaks.

All boxes of AS went out this morning, save one.....( RichZ check your PM)

I will be back in the morning with some other details about this round. The basket for the SRP conference also went out this morning. I think I have a few good pictures, so I'll post those on here sometime tomorrow too.

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

I think I've done much better this time on scents, after studying the dry down stage a little more.

I'm afraid you'll find these AS still have to be shaken, but I stumbled across the solution to this which was two fold, or perhaps even three fold. Also you will notice that there are only two AS in the box and 1 EDT, instead of the three Aftershaves I mentioned.

I started not to send any after realizing the possible solution to my oily, separated conconctions. So I removed the Blue (worst offender) and what remains on the test sheet is what I am calling Red, with the red electrical tape on the bottle itself, and the bottle with no tape on the bottom is called clear or white.

The EDT (spray bottle) is the same scent blend as RED. They may smell differently though, because the RED AS has "light Menthol" and I'm curious as to how one affects the other.

RichZ's box remains setting on the counter.......I will experiment with the new ratios and Rich because you have to wait an extra amount of time you will receive the new brew along with the others that have already been sent out, only fair that since you have to wait, you'll get first try at the new and improved formulation. Then I will send out the new brew to the other testers on the board.

We will take a pro-active approach to the container that the AS is going to go into. I will give you fine Gentlemen a list of links to suppliers ( sometime this weekend) that I can afford ( in quantity) and we as a group will choose the right container. While I do have a certain "artistic flair" to my personality......and thus in my choice of design, the fact remains that the AS bottle has to have some manner of "function". What is that saying ?? ....."form follows function" ....because the other factor is that you have a better understanding of the dispensing method and while I can list out on a peice of paper what I want the label to say, the point is mute if we don't have the bottle first, because the bottle size dictates the "label".

I am very aware of the fact that we have been bouncing this around for a year now..... Can believe that. Y'all should'a fired my ass but I'm really glad that you didn't.

We're almost there.....I promise. And I think what's nice is it will all come together in the form of two different types of AS's.....an EDT....and a nice shaving soap....and I suppose there's no reason to not have a shaving cream too. So SRP can have it's very own "product line" so to speak.

ALLLLLL that said, if you do not like these blends.....DO NOT say that you do. It is not easy to formulate a product. If all else fails after this next round, I will go to a fragrance house, asking for their most popular blends for men....I'll ask for samples and you can choose from there.

If I am unable to formulate a decent AS after this next round will we go to a bottled AS base. ( which is what most other folks do ) It's just that I'm stubborn, but a year has passed......so it's time to make decisive move. I appreciate your patience, AND I feel right affectionate towards each and every one of you for being so supportive and encouraging.

and on one more note......I have FORTY ORDERS to fill after the TWENTY I already filled, so after going thru a panic stage and then a crying stage I realized if I just filled 10 or so a day, I'd be alright I am SO TYPE A

Thus I am off to the little house, and will post the links for packaging supplies sometime this weekend.
