Welllll.....Gentlemen, I being the hopeless romantic that I am have already decided that each of you bears some resemblence to the following cast of characters.

Gregory Peck, Steve Martin, Humphrey Bogart, John Wayne, Jimmy Stewart, Fess Parker, Clark Gable, James Dean and there are a few others whose faces I can see but can't seem to remember their names.....lol.... "early alzheimer's" along with failing eyesight.....Getting older is no fun!

To me.....each and every one of you looks just like the cast of characters above! and if ever we meet in person, I would still think the same.....because its about whats on the inside, and each of you are Gentlemen in the finest sense of the word, besides.....only Manly Men shave with straight razors.....

    Good Morning Gentlemen,

Yep....I'm still here! plugging along AND making progress. I've had a dickens of a time with the new scent blend, actually I had to start over again....no matter what I did to the other it was either sweet, sweet.....or something like a burnt sour smell

Because folks seem to realize that I really don't spend time reading up on the other forums, they often times send me links to open and read when they think it will be of interest to me. So I actually clipped this to put here...

.....from the interview over at "Shave My Face" with Nancy Boy products.

SMF: Your fragrance product line has the Butch and Fem scents. Eric, what are your plans to introduce more cologne fragrances? Are sprays and splashes on the horizon as well?

NB: Colognes are so difficult. It took us more than a year to produce each of the two fragrances we have now. When you go the all-natural route, as we have, you’ve committed to using 20 – 30 different plant-based essences for each scent. It’s like a Rubik’s Cube—change one and the whole thing changes and you start over. So it’ll be a while before we introduce another one.

All of you have been incredibly patient with me, and whilst it is true that things are on the downhill slide at home....it is also true, that its not always easy to come up with a new scent....something no one else has.....not anywhere in the whole world..... So I thought it was interesting yesterday when I read the above response about splashes and colognes. For "how true" "how true" it is. Besides it makes me look like I know what I'm talkin about..... ....lol

And since y'all have some idea of what's going on at home. Nothing's changed really except that I've gotten down into the bottom of barrell over the course of the last 6 months, and now I'm ready to grab that bull by the horns....may as well..aye!

I want to say a special Thank you, for your words of encouragement and support. My show in Bluefield is this weekend (Thurs. Fri. Sat) and your next round of AS will go out around Tues. or Wed. of next week.

Have I mentioned that B&B is now putting together sample packs of everyone's goods. They contacted me about a month ago and I puzzled over why I would sell samples to them wholesale, while I currently can sell them at a profit...... but I couldn't figure out how to graciously squirm my way outta that. So I've got a box of samples to get together too.

So is SRP going to have its own little store like B&B?

Big Hugg to each of you this morning!! Colleen

Interesting piece about the scents but we all knew you were an expert so we are not worried. Hope things improve at home. We are still keeping you in our prayers.

Waaaay too busy on my end...still try to peruse the boards every afternoon. I need my fix. Heading into the crunch time of the semester (not for me, for my students) so they're getting worried about their grades and that spell long office hours for me. Anyway, hope all goes well for y'all. I'm enjoying a long delayed autumn, our high tems are down to the high 70's/low 80's. Now is about when I start to get the itch to get back into the woods.

    Cheers,
    Ed

This new job is really working me pretty hard. Well it's better than the alternative. My son is in 8th grade and we are doing all the high school entrance things. Wow am I tired of this..

    Hey Y'all,

I'm just checkin in......there was a moment of fear when I thought perhaps this thread was lost because there are some priceless comments in here that I wanted to use on the labels for the AS.

I've closed up shop for the next 7 days so I can get some work done around here, which means AS and Gift Baskets, and making more soap.

I've made up a new blend for the AS but it uses a combination of Essential oils and Fragrance oils. Which just burns my butt.... but sometimes I realize or at least accept the "possssssibility" that perhaps I'm being too stubborn in regards to the EO's. So I decided to try some EO's and FO's together......I think the dry down is better, more complex and not so flat.

Truth is I decided if I didn't try something we'd all be in the Nursing home together and life's just too damn short for that aye!

New set of AS will go out by the end of next week.
