It's about the same for me, the scent is secondary the performance is #1.

    A very good soap.
My wife uses it for her legs. Says it is the best of the many I have given her.
You can probably figure it is the only soap I have given her that I still use.

Count me in as an Arko lover. Unlike some, I enjoy the smell.

Arko sticks are most certainly my vacation soap (small car and two kids, limited space). The ivory smell is there, but a package that small and a shave as good as it is, no problem.

I'm the kind of person (and I suppose a lot are) where the smell of something wears on me if I don't get used to it. Sandalwood was that way, great at first but after a while I was tired of it. Transient smell like arko is nice in that case.

Tabac is a smell that I like, though, I guess because it gives me the opportunity to get on public transit, sit next to a hot young girl and smell like an old man But it's also one that I get used to and I don't notice the smell at all, good or bad.

I just take and press a couple of sticks, they are soft and form easily, into a bowl for use at home. Works out cheaper than buying the 90g bowl over here. Yea I know, I am tighter than skin on a weiner.
