I agree completely. I am finding myself using Proraso every day since I got it. I feel guilty about ignoring all the other stuff on my counter, but oh well.

Are you? Congratulations....so am I. Getting married in July. Suppose I used the wrong time to pick up a new hobby but as long as my girl likes it...hey who cares right?

Is it just me, or is the Proraso Pre/Post-Shave just high-priced Noxzema? I love the shaving cream and the brush and the aftershave, but the P/PS seems a bit overrated. Maybe I'm using it wrong...

My jury's out on this one, but I sort of agree.

It does give you a hell of a cooling sensation though--I'm a sucker for that as I really enjoy it. It helps smooth over any irritation and just kind of puts a pep in my step.

That being said, the shaving soap in the green tub does the same thing, really, just not quite as strong..and the aftershave balm...that works fantastically too for the irritation...probably better.

I'm going to use the one jar of it that I have and see what I think, but I might end up just going back to the soap/balm combo, myself.

I love this stuff, though..expensive noxema aside . I don't know that I can use anything else--or even want to. Top notch, to me.

The lather is great, and doesn't disappear too fast, and I actually rather enjoy the smell, and even the design of the bottles/containers has a certain charm to it. It just makes for a good shave.

    Update:

    Used the Pre/Post today.

A whole different experience using it fresh out of the shower.

I rubbed it on in the opposite direction of the growth, let it sit for a bit while I got some lather going, and boy oh boy did I get one hell of a nice cool flash when I started putting that lather on.

Ripped right through those whiskers, and no irritation to speak of, at all, when finishing off with the aftershave balm.

I think I'm going to keep it in the rotation

When used properly, the Proraso Pre/Post Shaving cream will make you say "Nox who?"!

I don't know if I'd call it expensive noxima, maybe it is but it works for me. Great shave whenever I use it.

No complaint about the shave really, but it just seems to me you could accomplish the same thing with Noxzema for about 1/3 the price.

I'm a little pissed that not one of the Target stores in my area carries Proraso. I've called every one of them.
