Oh I doubt I'll get anything frozen, it's not THAT cold here generally, although the other morning the puddles on the side of the road had a crust of ice on them (coldest Adelaide day in 126 years or something like that). I know that sort of thing is common for others, but for us it's very exciting (and a little annoying). I have found a plastic cooking spatula (egg flip) works wonders for scraping ice of the car windows.

Spring is starting to wake up so soon it'll be a glorious 36 degrees C and above, which is my kind of weather!

I may go biking on the weekend, but I have a cold at the moment (probably from the late night bike ride the other day). I Did do some bouldering as normal last night; I normally boulder (inside mainly) Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

By the way, talking about cold weather cycling I forgot I haven't shown you guys my old-fashioned cycling jersey; 100% merino wool, cool, hey?

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Was it a freebie with the bike mate?! ...I reckon it looks pretty damn good in all honesty. I like the whole retro-esque look to the photo.

Ta. I'm in to retr-esqueishness. I joked on facebook that I need tweed plus fours, a tweed cap and brown brogues to complete the look...

When I say 'joked' I mean 'stated as a fact'...

If I thought I could pull off the look, I'd be right there with you mate. I haven't tried it to see though, so maybe I should. I mean, I can get away with looking like a Pirate, both modern and historical, and also manage a fine rendition of a Gangsta from the Ghetto, so who's to say I can't do a Dapper gentleman cyclist.

    Gentlemen,

I'm not a gym enthusiast by any stretch but I workout daily as part of my job so I thought it might be fun to jump in with you from time to time. I ran a few folks through this one yesterday and we were practically crawling away at the end - if you try it let me know what you think.

5 x rounds (no rest between), set 1 is 25 reps, set 2 is 20 reps, set 3 is 15 reps, etc)

    Each round is:
    1 x Rope Climb (12-15 ft rope)
    # x box jumps (reps based on round)
    # x thrusters (50 - 60 lbs)
    # x knees to elbows
    # x push-ups
    1 x 50m sprint

I used to LOVE climbing ropes int he army, with no legs, using just your arms...

That looks hard...Sounds like crossfit...What height is the box? Aaron (my 23 YO old son) and I just discussed this (he's a Master fitness trainer and I'm an old fart wanna be/was) decided we need a rope...

We were using a concrete platform as our makeshift box, I think it was about 2.5 - 3 feet high. When you jumped onto it you landed in a good, deep squat position.
