That's a silly question Ed, they're sticking out from his pants legs, and are quite easily seen as all the red blood stands out from the green grass and grey rocks against that lily white skin.

What you want are a pair of those sports leggings, that'd take the sting out a bit. Sounds like, despite the forboding start you had a nice day.

Bike ride this morning. Peer group pressure from you lot to get out and do something. Also gave me the chance to take a quick snap of the bike to post on the pushbike thread.

I was 23km's away from reaching black level on Nike+ after a 17k run yesterday. So I had to do 23km today
Finally, the 5000km goal has been reached.
It took a couple years, but I made it

I did an easy 20 km ride yesterday, though I don't know that it would be counted as an actual workout. More a long, slow warm-up. I had my 7 year old riding with me.

I ripped skin off my finger tips on sharp granite bouldering. I've been bouldering 6 days in the last 9 so I felt pretty tired. Might have a break for a couple of days at least; maybe even from Monday to Friday and hit the bouldering gym again Sat. I find it hard to rest, sometimes.

Another 20km ride with the daughter today. I'm not so sure this is a great idea as exercise. It has proven a tad slow and a might bit dangerous. We were on the home run today, and I was just in the process of checking a pedestrian underpass for unsavouries before I led my little girl in. My drill is to keep pointed along the track so as to be able to ride on if necessary, look down the tunnel on my right to check for said undesirables, finding none I then turn into the tunnel. It was on checking the tunnel that I saw a streak of movement from behind me and heard what sounded like a blood curdling war cry of ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. I swerved hard to my left as my daughter streaked past me, untying my right shoelace with her left pedal, before she came to a sudden stop as one of her flailing feet clipped the ground, causing a spectacular stack! No children were hurt in the making of this drama.
Here we are in the nicer bushland part of todays ride...
