Thanked: 485Well lately workouts have been just climbing...
Mon and Wed was an hour and a half of indoor bouldering, Sat was top roping at a different venue and today was top roping at a local crag (Morialta). Completed a route graded 19 at the indoor place and 17 (Resurrection) at the outdoor place.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

After injuring my ankles a few months ago, I'm going to go for a 30-day challenge to get back into full form. 5k/day for 30 days. Well, I usually run 3.5-4 miles/day, but I'll be happy with at least 5k every day for the next month. Did my first 5k this morning.

Thanked: 485Lately I'm doing a lot of climbing, three times a week sometimes four, plus one bike ride a week (just a short ride; 15ks). I need to fit in some weights training somewhere...

Thanked: 485Well, after feeling VERY sick on Friday (very very tired and weak) I had a sleep for 16 hours and hit the climbing gym. Had a great session. This morning did my 16k bike ride again and shaved 6 minutes off last week's time.

Ran 5 miles this morning. My longest run since the ankle problems a few months ago. Did 4 miles yesterday and have been averaging 3-4 miles/day for a few weeks now.

I have been getting in 30-50 miles per month miles of walking and cycling since August. In the past month I have been adding some running to my trail walks. For the year My total is around 300 miles.

Thanked: 485Hurt my lower back Tuesday when I jumped off the climbing wall, so since then it's been just a bit of cycling. Today it was a lightish session bouldering. Still managed to send a V4 though...

Thanked: 485Yesterday was spent bouldering at a place called Rocky Paddock. Here's a video of me doing some traversing. At the end of this my hands were bleeding.
Note the photo below of how pumped my forearms became

Thanked: 485Well, this thread has gone on for more than a year, starting on the 7th of November 2013 and for 68 pages. That's a lot of workouts and positive encouragement for each other to be active and DO stuff...
I started the new year with a 10k bike ride which I completed in 28:25, which is about a minute and a 1/2 less time than last time I did this ride. Not bad considering a BIT of a hangover after two bottles of wine last night...
So, get up and get pumping iron, running, walking, hiking, riding, skateboarding, climbing, whatever, then come home, have a nice hot shower and a nice shave. I myself am going to have a hot shower now followed by an ICY cold shave.
This thread is starting to have WAY too many posts from me, I want to hear from YOU
