Been having a good few weeks since getting my ankles back healed. Averaging around 5 miles/day of running plus 20-30 minutes of lifting. Add in the sauna afterwards, and I'm nice and jello'y for sitting on my butt at a desk.

Well, didn't make that today, and it's only for the last 4 reps on my drop set...that's a goal, only made 160lbs(made 175 last week) for the last 4...tired today...think it will be another couple of months to get there...but I'm also not looking to create bulk, I prefer fast twitch muscle development, lean and strong, but my PT instructor changes things up on me to cause me PAIN!!!

Thanked: 485Did bench presses when I go home from work today for the first time in more than a year. Only light, up to 50 kilos, lots of sets...
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 485Did this tonight when I got home from work. Down to 69 kilos, and have lost about 7% body fat. The scales say I'm 17.3% body fat but I think possibly less. I'm now in danger of actually having visible abs. To be honest, I seem to be the best shape I've been since I left the army in '96...

Thanked: 2Not been on the forum in a while, but I've done a few CV workouts in the last few days.
Saturday: 10km run in 45 mins, alongside the river. Mainly a steady pace, but added in about 6 sprints when I got bored of a continuous pace.
Sunday: 10km cycle (can't remember the time) in the gym.
Monday: attended a British Military Fitness session. It was a mix of intervals and bodyweight exercises - I can't remember exactly what we did, but it was painful!
Tuesday: took it easy and spent 25 minutes in the pool
Today: I'm having to do a Multi-Stage Fitness Test today, as I'm hoping to go forward and do the Army Reserve selection for the Parachute Regiment. I'll let you know how it goes...

This is one of the most useful threads in the SRP. I just don't have the energy for a workout mentally these days..

After finishing up my Saturday of volunteer work at around 2pm, my reward is off to the gym.
Chest and Back today, all drop sets with free weights including some chin-ups and push ups till my arms melt - this is what I call my, "can't shave today" workout!!
And hopefully, as the inner pig in me grows and matures, for my warm down - walking the track listening to music, hopefully the women's advanced step class will be rocking!

Fun & fitness trail with the family. Stopped at each exercise station & let the kids "play".
