I eat clean, and get 180-210 grams of protein/day in the form of chicken, fish, nuts, milk, whey powder, etc. I also consume a daily dose of multivitamins, garlic, fish oil, and testosterone booster.

you should find a supliment to help heal your muscles , or just not work out as hard on those sore days

    Good job.
It was a great day. Lots of sunshine (and hence vitamin D) and some good climbing. First time sports climbing for me. Met the guy who first climbed this (and bolted it) in 1999. George is now 79. He started climbing in '52. He didn't climb today due to a double hernia (caused by moving house to an old folks' home) but he was full off history and incredible stories of adventure from all over the world.

I didn't end up doing the volume of climbing I normally do but what I did do was quite core dependant and dependant on balance and good footwork.

Tomorrow it's off to a crag near me named Morialta. I'll climb Asgard and Lord's Prayer on solo top rope. Easy climbs grade 16 and 15), but I'll do a lot of laps.

That's what steroids are for. Being all natural, I do not have the luxury of quick recovery time.

Really, know what you mean, today no problem, when I go tomorrow to do legs, my biceps and triceps will be sore, always the way...beats my wrestling days though from University, where every part of my body would be sore all the time. I still have some range of motion loss on my right shoulder, makes doing squats with the bar tough...but the gym for me, aside from the physical health benefits, is a great way to "flush the toilet on my brain", keeps me clear and not focused on small stuff...

Looks awesome, very mental as well, no stopping or giving up, lots of fear to overcome, confidence I can see being huge in this, fitness and adventure all in one - glad you had a great day!

Ya, the body's always sore, plus my work is also physically demanding. I've never wrestled, but I can appreciate the fact that they punish their bodies and pain killers are probably a staple in their diet! As for your squats, have you tried adding a leg press machine into your workouts? I know it won't work as many muscles as a traditional squat, but it still gives your quads & hamstrings a good pump, and you can use an insane amount of weight as well.

LOL - my leg day starts with squats using the bar, the leg extension and leg curls, then leg press, followed by sitting and standing calf raises...so I do both, and have been doing lots of stretching exercises and movement to get it better, from 2 years ago, when I couldn't even get my right arm behind my shoulder, now I can, with some discomfort...getting better though.

And Ibuprofen has always been my friend...

I see. I also do both, wasn't sure what your routine consisted of. Gotta' hate them nagging injuries, they sure pose limitations on a person.
