Yes, I envision a shorter knee brace than the one I'm currently in. It's more splint to keep my knee from bending than a support brace per se. The bottom is just above my right ankle and the top is generally up pinching my fellas. But yeah a shorter support brace will probably help with my early attempts at biking

I went to the gym for the first time in 10 days after work yesterday. It felt good to be back.
10 min on bike, plus dynamic warmup
    Squat Jumps 2 sets x 10 reps
    Weighted Squats 3 x 6
    Lat Pull-downs 3 x 6
    Bridges 3 x 25 seconds
    Single-leg Balance 3 x 25 sec
    Knee-raises 3 x 15
    10 minutes on treadmill, stretching

Funny observation...I have been hitting the gym 3 times a week to drop weight and build endurance so I can get back into trail running. It has been so wet this summer that the trails are too wet to run on. I think the last time I ran on dirt was a month ago.

I intentionally don't list weights because 1) this is the internet and I could just make numbers up and 2) I don't want to turn this into a competition.

OK. But nothing wrong with a little competition :-)
I think you body weight plays apart in straingth. Because if Peron A: weights 130 lbs.
    Person B: weights 176 lbs.
And they both curl a max of 150 lbs.
Who would you say is stronger?
I would say person A, because they are lifting note than their body weight. If you really think about it you pull and hold your weight dayly with you arms and legs.

I went for a trail run last night which was taxing due to soreness left over from Tuesday's gym session. We've had a lot of rain this summer so I haven't been running on the trails as much as I would like. The scenery and variation make running rather enjoyable.

As I was heading for the car I bumped into Smokey. He said he was taking the evening off and heading into town.
