Got done things early today, so the punishment went somewhat like this:

    *Dips: 3 sets, 12 reps
*Scull Crushers w/Eazy Curl Bar: 3 sets, 10 reps
*Dumbell Row: 3 sets, 10 reps
*Barbell Shrug: 3 sets, 10 reps
*Single Arm Preacher Curl: 3 sets, 10 reps
*Leg Press Machine: 3 sets, 12 reps
    *60 sit-ups on flat bench
    *40 minutes riding a bike

Good workout, took about an hour and a half in the gym, then the 40 minutes outside on the bike. Good enough for a day or 2!

Well. I've had a busy week! Rode the bike to the bouldering gym last Sat and did a two hour session doing a lot of traversing and also powerful roof problems and campussing (climbing without using your feet). Then did two hours of indoor top roping on Sunday. Rest days Monday and Tuesday (although I HAD planned to do pushups and gymnastic rings stuff Sunday), then two hours' of bouldering again after work on Wednesday. Then two hours of indoor top roping again last night. Tomorrow it'll be indoor bouldering with maybe indoor top roping on Sunday :-)

Not sure if you'll be able to see the video, is at the local bouldering club on their facebook page...

Making progress. I've transitioned to running 3x week so the jogging on gym days has been switched to the exercise bike. I ran out of gas on the Burpies today.

I hate burpies, those and slam balls....great routine, there's this sign in our gym, "Your Training Is Paying Off!".

I always feel better after the gym, both physically and mentally - I often refer to the gym as, "flushing the toilet on my brain"...LOL.

Rode my single speed bike about 11 Ks to the climbing club in light rain today and climbed for an hour and a half, just a few medium difficulty problems, a bit of traversing and some campussing. Showed a few young guys just starting how to do the easy climbs. Rode back and then drove home to an afternoon of polishing the bike, ironing, washing and a haircut (number 1 all over). Thinking about an evening bedroom shave by candle light. Drinking a few stubbies of stout because as we all know the goodness of stout completely negates the negative effect of the alcohol. Some may need to Google 'stubbies' and even 'stout'...

Back to the gym tonight after a six month hiatus. Kettlebells and bag work, same as the old days. I have to say it feels good to be back.

Lou Reed - Rock n Roll, in the headphones....

Active rest day, so dynamic warm-up and 20 minutes on the elliptical with a nice walk for an hour at the Beach.
