Thanked: 9Congrats! My best half marathon is about 1:50, and the last one has been last sunday in almost two hours. My only full marathon has been quite a painful experience. I didn't give up, though, but ended up blaming everything from shoes to coach :-(
I hope to improve something this year, as I have only been running for less than two years right now, and being young enough to expect improvements (not 48 yet).
Hey! I had never heard about the Hokas, and just visited their page. Looks like they are kind of unique, aren't they?
Rgds.
Martin

I worked on a new routine today. Today's focus was upper body. I worked to exhaustion on the push-ups and front/side raises and didn't complete the reps.

In celebration of our glorious victory........at losing, yesterday's theme was the Connor McDavid workout.
At Mill Creek Ravine along Connors Road, pull a ball out of the hat, then do 97 reps of what is written on the ball:
97 squats
97 situps
97 situps
Hill run
97 tuck jumps
97 situps
97 plank jacks
Am just glad I didn't pull the burpee ball.Jon

Excellent - I have four sheets like that, one for each workout, I transferred each workout to a little square of paper that I can keep in my sweats if I need to consult what's next...I think it makes me look so pro to pull it out and see what I have to do next.......NOT!
Today will be the brutal leg workout after I return from a 2pm business meeting...supply chain logistics, always a fascinating technology topic!

Right now, I'm just starting to become a runner. My post was referring to the NHL Draft Lottery, in which our pro hockey team won the right to draft the best player in the last decade.
As far as my training, it's a community called the November Project. It's a free fitness group in 19 cities across the continient. Give it a Google, it's pretty neat.Last edited by Thisisclog; 04-21-2015 at 05:43 PM. Reason: Sorry, Phrank

More upper bowl stairs this morning, we were tricked into thinking it would be a nice leisurely sprint around the lower bowl, but no. More Jello legs. Followed that up with a 6k run at lunch.
