Seeing that wedding ring, I was reminded of my school days in a smithing studio.
The ""Always Have"" tool was a ring cutter to remove a squashed finger ring from a finger with out doing any more dam,age to the finger.

The guard is thin and slides between the ring and finger then the hand operated circle saw cut through in quick time.
I used it a couple times while there and once since.
Cheap at ten times the price!! Under $20! Gets the ring off before the finger swells too much. I operated mine with the other hand, not easy, but possible. Google "ring cutter"

My brother and his wife recently exchanged new wedding rings. He wanted something out of the ordinary and settled on tungsten carbide. He was asked about how much shop work he did, and warned that a swollen finger would likely result in a lost finger, as there is no way that an emergency room would be able to cut a tungsten carbide ring.

Just finished these deer antler scales for my Boker Tree 5/8. They have a black buffalo horn spacer and brass pins. Nice tight peen and the blade centres perfectly. Turned out better than I'd hoped. The brush is one of mine too. Silvertip badger knot in antler, with a buffalo horn base. Wish my photography was better. The antler feels so tactile.

So I finally scored at the pawn shop.

Offered $10 and they took it.
