Always remove wedding band & bracelets if you are going to work on a car or machinery with electricity, ac or dc. You can accidentally electrocute yourself with ac current & if you happen to be working on something dc powered & accidentally get caught between a positive terminal & ground or earth, it will turn red in your finger or wherever it is on you!!!!
    Always be cautious!
Yet another good reason to avoid wedding rings altogether! ;-)

I keep mine on my key chain. I sometimes put it on at music venues (bars) as a courtesy. The last time I was doing this, I had the thought that if I dropped it, everyone would assume I was taking it off.

I've worked in the automotive industry & although I didn't see any of these things happen, we were warned in safety meetings & such plus I have heard the horror stories. When you wear something metal on your body, you must be careful.

Intelligent chemical industry employers do not allow employees to wear any form of jewellery on the floor. Too many ways for the metal to react badly in an emergency and cause MORE damage. Always had a little belt pouch for my stuff.

I removed mine 35 years ago. I got rid of the reason and expenses.

Suppose it is possible but have never seen an electricle issue with rings etc.
As with any Rotery tools,No watches,No rings,No long sleeves,No long hair.(long hair is not a problem with me
My mom worked in a WW2 machine shop back in the 40s,She tells me true story of a lady that got her long hair caught in a drill press.
    Darn near killed her.
