I always use metric on small jobs and detail work. It's too easy, IMO.

So I brought my old Torrey to the shop in it's tobacco scales I put on many years ago.
Perfect fit for the Torrey scales. Already eyeing a few blades for the tobacco scales.
I dig how it turned-out and am happy I did not go polishing on them.
The flat black look suits it, I think.
Used ajkenne's nickel-silver collars, of course.
Great project because no honing required!
    It was already shaving excellent!
    Done!

Geogorgeous. Taste exudes from you like motor oil from a crankcase.

Thanks! I really liked it in the tobacco scales as well.
Almost wondered what the hell I was doing?

But as I got it pinned, I liked it more and freed-up the others for another blade.

I have a few John Hollers...Need to find the other one. It's a bit different..

Nipper, I have a sickness which makes me buy something for the scales or blade. Hence the razor wind-chimes!
I have looked at enough to tell what size the scales will accommodate. What size that blade really is..
    What blade will fit what.
Some make scales, I do this.

Challenging and frustrating at times. Takes forever to find the right thing, if you ever do!
But hey! It's all pins and collars, Right?
Everything changes and gets more correct.

A chain reaction from a scale acquisition will make 4 razors from the pile....maybe?

Nice work sharptonn. What are the letters on the blade and scales?
