Thats a great haul! You did well for sure.
I thought about making pens for some fun. Then priced out the basic equipment i would need and it was just a bit more than i was thinking. Id have to sell a lot of pens to make it worth while. I just wanted a few for myself and maybe a brush handle or three. But the cost was just not right. With all this stuff you got, your going to have stuff to do for years.
Congrads!It's just Sharpening, right?

Thanked: 4827That is an amazing find Mike. I have been busy being a tourist and doing fun activities so I have not gotten any shave related stuff finished. It’s nice to see others projects progressing. Stay busy gents!

Thanked: 4206Yup the lil anvil was part of the kit, as is the tiniest table saw I ever, well saw. But it’s still at the shop with the rest of the stuff.
There was a Beatles album in the locker signed by three of the four that he sold, for an obscene amount of money, so he actually turned down a few offers from the likes of woodchuckers, an outfit in Toronto, just cause they were all low balling him.
I think I paid less than they were offering, but we get along Hart and I so he just waited on me to figure out it really was worth the dough, and show up to take it all away.
A truly one of a kind sort of deal for a tinkerer such as I. Had to dip into the car restoration fund to grab it all. Paint job may have to wait another season....
Was hoping to haul the rest home tonight to get things organized, but a late day at work killed that notion..
Bolt action? Think that can be done, as well as lever action kits for the 30 30 lovers out there..loads of antler blanks and a few full 6 point racks to play with as well.

Thanked: 315I did not know they made lever action pens! I just saw the bolt actions at WoodCraft. I figured if I could ever design my own pens I would want a non-twist and a fountain pen.
Hopefully I'll be in a better job next year and in a place where I can justify owning a nice pen.
Also. Keep meaning to mention this but forget. Long story short. Tried a quick experiment a while back that did not go well.
