    I've casted lead bullets and fishing tackle, for years.
    As to moisture..you can put lead in water, but never water to lead. Used to make shot for shotgun shells, by dripping molten lead into a can of cold water. Wasn't always successful at keeping it round, mostly came out a bit egg shaped.. 50 cal. Round balls make perfect wedges

    i do usually. put them on the scanner so i get as close to original as possible. ive scanned enough now though that i also have about 8-10 'template' shapes to chose from. i just resize to custom fit the specific razor.

    Scanner! Good idea. I just trace them but i like the scanner idea. That horn is beautiful.
