Thanked: 4206Very nice strop build 'how to' mate!
Nice precision metal work as well. Should last a few lifetimes.

Today I'm starting with straightening out the scales on my Shulze, Tuesday razor from 7 day set.
And then cut out some scale patterns and scales for a few blades in the ta do box.

Scales have been Straightend as best possible.
And have rough cut my next three sets of scales.
One set from African Mahogany.
Two sets from African Blackwood.

Screw on the handle put on an epoxy adhesive, a tree covered with Danish, left quite a bit to the end.

Dubl Duck Satin Wedge
A hearty thank you to all the folks that contributed to refurbishing/restoring with your insight, tips and tricks.
Working on basic shape of replacement scales for my DD Satin Wedge where the scales had shrunk to the point of the blade touching the wedge. Lexan is a bit of a chore working by hand. Har! It's going to take a few days to sand the bevel into the scales.
Airbrush etcher is in the mail for bringing back the satin finish on tang.

Thanked: 2284This is actually my second d go at this brush. The first handle had bad stress fractures in the Ebony, and it's not the first time it's happened to this specific slab of Ebony. This one worked much better, Amboyna burl sandwiched between African Blackwood.
