More of a rattler grind. Very thin.!!

Another mistake I made was having one piece rolled a little too tight in the bucket for the fibers to expand. So, a crease formed and made a small spot on the edge unravel
    Should still be usable though.
Need to start looking for hardware with loops or lobster clasps for the top. Plain D rings are functional, but I would I would like to do a couple nicer.

Besides going sloooooow, is there anything I should do to keep prevent further damage when unpinning thin bone scales?
Pinned REALLY tight, or rust added pressure.

Soak the whole works in light mineral oil. Also use a thin DE blade and try to carefully work some of the rust out.

    Yeah...what Rez, said.

If ya don't have mineral oil, use baby oil.
I know ya got plenty of that, on hand.

    Tom,

Feel free to send a few my way.

Tom, do you use a protective oil on them to fight the effects of humidity?
